This is my first blog. Not a great thing to say when you want people to read what you want to write about, is it? But then, I guess it's best to clarify that this blog is not about my writing skills...its about ideas. Yes, ideas!
After 15 years of hectic corporate life, I find myself unoccupied. No Job. Nothing to do! Not because of the recession or any such terrible thing. Simply because I got married and moved to a non-english speaking country. And simple things that I'd forever taken for granted eg. simple conversations, shopping for food or a shampoo....anything for that matter seemed impossible. I'd always believed that I would be in the corporate world till I chose to retire.....and now I realise that I dont even speak the language of the country I live in, and so no job for me!!
I realised I'd left behind a successful career heading marketing at a leading Pharma company and ended up doing nothing but struggle. Struggle to communicate....to find a job....to find friends who spoke english......and I thought I'd made the biggest mistake of my life getting married. and none of it was really my husband's fault.....except that he chose to do business in such a country!......and thats when I started racking my brains for ideas....ideas that I could use to do online business.
And I thought may be its a good idea to write about it. write about my daily struggles....and small victories!! May be I should put up my ideas for someone like me to use and make their lives that much easier....or may be could just collect business ideas and put them together here!......At the end of the day, if someone does benefit, maybe they will post me a mail to tell me my blog helped them in some small way!
So thats what I am going to blog about...ideas. and my blog will hopefully be an idea-source. So wish me luck.
